Why does the Pentagon keep going back for more money? Have they underestimated Putin and the Russians? According to Merkel they've been getting ready for this since 2014. 8 years of planning but a few short months into it and they already need tens of billions more? Surely this is it, right? Now they've got Russia on the ropes and this next $38 billion is it. Correct? Or will they keep underestimating Russia? Seems strange to continue to back people that so severely underestimate a nuclear power.
To put $38 billion into context it's enough to rebuild every stadium the NFL plays in.
Are you saying the US / NATO should give (or should have given) Ukraine more, so that the pentagon won’t need to ask for more money in the future?
To put $38 billion into context, it’s less than Elon Musk paid for the dumpster fire that is Twitter.
I'm not sure how many of these the Russians have made in the past year or how fast they are making them now but I can't see how some tanks and patriot missiles will matter.
Apparently your Russians didn't make many of them. That video you linked is from 10 months ago, and there are plenty of apartment building and hospitals still standing in Kiev.

HAHA!!! Nice take, Anton. I think the West is still getting over how much we OVER-estimated the Russia military. No one figured retreat/reverse was key Russian military doctrine. Actually under-estimating Russia is something that just doesn't seem possible now. How? Be like trying to divide by zero.
An ammunition explosion caused by \"careless\" handling of a grenade in Russia's Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine killed three soldiers and injured 16, Russian news agencies reported on Sunday.

$100 billion plus and counting.
What if the Trump tax returns had shown he had given $100,000,000,000 plus of our money to Ukraine?

We all know Trump was too busy playing golf and congratulating a bunch of Nazi insurrectionists to even know where Ukraine was on a map... or what a map is.
Seriously. He's going back 130 years to the age of imperialism to justify Russia's aggression in 2022-2023. Really lame whataboutism.
If he went back 170 years he would find the 1853-56 Crimean War. Before and after that were the Ninth Russo-Turkish War (1828) and Tenth Russo-Turkish War (1888).

And according to Not Lolly, all of these wars were started by the USA.

If you went back to 1945, you'd realize Russia and Ukraine are the the problem. america and the west is (regarding death and destruction to humanity). america has killed 20-30 million AFTER WWII. You almost had a point, if you didn't disappear into a 19th century whattaboutism.
