Great post! I couldn't agree more. Where has the morals and ethics of this country gone? Who cares if other countries dope. That should never give us reasons to dope. We should be above corruption and cheating, not making excuses to go along side immoral countries, like Kenya and Russia. USA use to set the example of morality and honesty and integrity. Now our people want to throw those moral characteristics out the door to pursue what? To be like other cheaters? Shame on those who rationalize what Salazar and Brown have been doing for years. They both should be banned for life, along with several of their athletes like Mo and Rupp for starters.

Yeah and Aden had those needles and vials of EPO for someone other than his athletes as well. Aden may know someone going through chemotherapy and some people with kidney disease, there's no way to know we just have to assume all his athletes are clean until they test positive.

I think Rupp is in serious danger. I'd be willing to bet he's a no-show at Chicago, and his Olympic's chances are in grave danger, as might his 2016 medal.

Great run by Kincaid but it wasn’t PED- take his prior 5K best time, let him draft with perfect pacing for 4600! Meters in perfect conditions (low temp, zero wind), in a small field so he ran zero extra distance- and thats how you get from 13:12 or whatever to sub 13.

Listening to his pod on marathon talk, my guess is that he did it most out of self preservation instincts. Was tough in the short term but long term was he smart thing for him to do.
Regardless of motivation, everyone who drew attention to this and helped put a stop to it is a hero today in my book! It's a good day for clean sport. Maybe even Salazar will come to see this as a good day if it wakes him up and makes him understand what he did was wrong. Orrrr maybe he just says he would do it all again the exact same way, but one can hope!

This leads me to the question the statement, "is everyone at this level doping?"
If so, then were (are) NCAA champs who have proven they can run with the best, ie Murphy, Brazier, Engels, Hoppel, doping? I find it hard to believe these guys were doping in college and into now. I thought the consensus on if guys doped in college was.. probably not.
Furthermore, someone like Clayton who ran his 800m PR shortly after his NCAA champs and prior to joining NOP, I just don't think he's dirty. Same kind of situation with Brazier, Hoppel, Engels in their own ways.
Maybe I'm too optimistic, but idk.
Hassan, Farah, and Rupp are the first 3 of Salazar's athletes that people will assume were doped/are doping. Centro honorable mention.
Maybe all his runners, and maybe they didn't. But there were plenty of rumors about AlSal, especially in elite circles, so anyone that chose to run for NOP is looking very suspect right now. Rowbury has always talked a big anti-doping stance but if you are so anti-doping, why on Earth would you associate yourself with AlSal? Engels, Murphy, etc.... they all have a lot of explaining to do ASAP.
I don’t really see why Rupp wouldn’t start at Chicago because of this 1) tests haven’t caught him yet and they won’t now, and 2) not running makes him seem guilty.
Even if he didn’t ran, he could still be tested. May as well go out and race like it’s the last race of his life (as who knows, maybe it will be)

Isn't it know that Rupp was one of the conspirators of Alberto's and Dr Brown's cheating? Isn't that as bad or worse than a failed test?
