Chances of Mo Farah beating Kipchoge in London?

I've been saying for years that Mo Farah is the best track runner there is based on winning alone. (What the hell else matters?)

What you guys need to realize, is that you're not being objective. You like Kipchoge becasue he's humble and nice. But he's so suspicious. Salazar and his L-carnitine stuff is boyscouts compared to the stuff happening in east africa..

I don't like Farah. Never cheered for him and generally want him to lose because his personality and attitude, but he's been the best, the winningest track runner there's ever been. That seems impossible to deny when you count his gold medals and races against the best in this generation

I'll save you the suspense - Kipchoge will beat Farah in the London marathon. He's the better marathoner, and Mo is the better track runner. But you're right, it is pointless to go on arguing now that I see that you don't think comparing medals and championship results during the same era as being relevant.

Exactly. These clowns are arguing about a 205 guy beating a 201 (and almost a 200) guy. It's just not going to happen.

Classic thread. Some fanboy arguing that times aren't important in running (maybe he has running confused with gymnastics), and that Kipchoge (the 2:01 guy with the most unbelievable marathon win record ever seen) is more than likely to lose to a guy who hasn't even gotten into the 2:03s *or* 2:04s.

The men's race is just not interesting--what about the women though? There are some crazy fast chicks, and good lord but they're not afraid to go out way too fast at London.
