Nathan Sileshi - the son of Tirunesh Dibaba and Sileshi Sihine - is already 3. He was born March 26th, 2015 if my memory serves me correctly. We only have 15 years to wait. Hell he'll probably be tearing it up as a 9th or 10th grader like the Culpepper kid so we we only have maybe 12 years to wait.

Why don't you email me and we'll play you the tape recording of the interview? I didn't even to the interview. One of the secondary points f the interview was to silence people like you - to show you that so many people have doubts about the NOP. It's not just us. Maybe they are clean but to doubt it isn't stupid.

Quick summary I saved a while ago about Salazar:

- coach of testo-drug cheat Slaney

- "testosterone medication" for Rupp as teenager

- tested testosterone on his sons

- Rupp caught with elevated testo levels

- Farah, Rupp, Centro caught with ABP (off score) violations

- used a prohibited method for several of his athletes according to USADA

- instructed his athletes to lie to USADA -> no respect for USADA

- sent drugs in hollow books across borders -> no respect for the law

- DQ of G. G. against the rules -> no respect for USATF

We can all be skeptical of Rupp and Salazar. That is fine but I find this really inconsistent. You have been ignoring other athletes who you like but also use thyroid meds (Hall) , see Dr Brown (Solinsky), or drink Testoboost. And, if we are being technical, Dathan, not Rupp, is actually the one implicated in the draft report.

Also, when addressing NOP do you ever ask hard questions of Kara Goucher who was Salazar’s star athlete for many years or Magness? They never really answered questions after Salazar’s rebutal. Are they going to keep making statement and then saying ‘no

Comment’ to follow up questions due to the investigation that never ends. It seems like a double standard.

The whole financial disparity argument stems from a misguided understanding of fairness. It seems unfair that certain runners obtain advantages over others unfairly, but the world is not yet a crazy enough place to reward undeserving people.

Its simple: when runners start to perform CONSISTENTLY as Rupp does, then they will get the perks that he does. If the runners who make pennies want more perks, then run faster.

You didn't address the poster's points. How can you say that someone doped when that person has not had "off-the-charts" jumps in performance? That would be the clear evidence of doping. Instead, Galen has been consistent. You seem to underestimate what 15 years of consistent running can achieve.

And as for your kick starter experiment? I say bring it on. If after running that experiment, it shows that you can't be world class like Galen, would you concede then? Would that evidence persuade you?

If not, then you can't claim that you make beliefs based on evidence. If no evidence will prove to you that Galen is clean, then I don't know what will. As a huge Rupp fan, I hereby state that if there was some obvious, clear, smoking gun evidence that proved that he was cheating, I would admit that I have been wrong all these years.

no one knows the real age of Africans . this kid could be 5.

I've been coming here since 2003 and the Johnsons' coverage of Rupp has always been with a tone of jealousy and anger. It's disgusting and kills my enthusiasm for the sport. Running needs as many fans as possible and Letsrun does a great job of covering events but then scores an own-goal for the sport with this awful negative bias.

Take a page from any other professional sports writer. Cover the story unbiased (fast times, chances of winning, etc). If and when Salazar or Rupp gets officially busted, trash them. If they don't, let it be. Just look at Lance Armstrong...American hero right up to the day he got popped, then leper. It is what is best for the sport. If you guys can maintain the cognitive dissonance for Usain Bolt, you can do it for Rupp.

By continuously trashing your readers' faith in professional track, you are undermining the fan support for the honest guys who are hoping to make a living in the sport. Honestly, tell me why I should believe Chris Solinsky, Ben True, Evan Jager are/were clean when their 5k times are on par with Rupp's. Are you insinuating that Rupp is only as talented as Wejo but drugged up so his times are just slightly faster than the best clean Americans? Sorry, not buying that.

We would all like drugs to go away in the sport. We would all like the cheaters not to compete in a single event. The reality is that the sport, like all pro sports, is riddled with drugs and massive corruption in the IAAF, USATF, IOC, etc. When you make it ok to adopt a guilty until proven innocent approach, everyone in the sport comes under the cloud of suspicion. Why should I believe that Wejo's incredible improvement post college was legit (I do btw)? How can anyone be a fan in that environment?
