Agree. I've met one of the Hansons once. I believe in their dedication and talent, plus their willingness to support the development of emerging elite (yes, elite) American athletes.
The critics are nothing on the radar screen and Letsrun is racist, sexist trash.
Know them both. They are simply as nice as they come and driven as well.
They truly want their athletes to do well and try to do everything possible to help them. Their athletes are all super nice guys and gals living the dream and giving it their best shot to be as good as they can be.
Their wives are super cool as are both of their kids. They are all very kind respectful people and quite funny. If you didn't know them and approached either one of them at a race, they'd be as kind as any stranger that you've ever met...they are that nice.
Not sure where the hate is coming from but since this is Letsrun and it's almost expected, I shouldn't really be surprised. Now I know why I rarely come here.
Hansons are not using this message board correctly. Sometimes I get inspired by this place. Everyday I am thoroughly entertained. This Negative Nancys can't take the bounce out of my step!
