Well that 5k was disappointing
That was a terrible race by Knight, and both him and Fisher fouled up by letting people pass them with 400 to go. Considering the slow pace, Fisher won as predicted.
I know I'm in the minority, but I love those types of races.

Does anyone think healthy Ches wouldn't have won that race? Knight was frankly a bit of a letdown.
The distance races in the NCAA have been truly awful these past few seasons. Does everyone honestly think they can run a 55 last lap and sub 2 800?
TV director nailed the timing on that 5k.. commercials and discus... came back when the race actually started.

Were you actually watching it? I'm all for tactical races, but that was anticlimactic for sure.
NEW RULE:
You do not receive any awards or accolades if you do not run faster than the slowest seed time in the race.
What is it with the men not wanting to push the pace? The women's races tomorrow will be a lot more exciting. These guys could all take a hint from Dani Jones, Allie Ostrander, Anna Rohrer, etc.
