In conclusion:

1) The situation at Letsrun.com is still completely hopeless in 2017.

2) Sir SlowMoâ„¢ has been very busy getting knighted, pudgy, and out of shape. He also was sick recently and his training has not been that good the last few weeks. In addition to this, Mo is also not very good at cross country because he gets beat at XC all the time by Garrett Heath.

Mo also does not really care about XC. Mo cares about more important races like the Olympics and World Championships at 5K and 10K on the track where he does a lot better than running in the mud in Scotland in January.

However, it was fun to see the Scot Callum Hawkins destroy Sir SlowMoâ„¢ by 45 SECONDS!!!

What is Alberto thinking after this XC debacle for Mo which follows Galen's 10th place finish debacle at a Turkey trot?

No, I don't see that at all. I'm interested in people running fast. I don't care what they had to do since they were 4 years old. I don't even know why you brought that up. These guys are not Gebresalassie. Many of these top Africans start in middle school or highschool and are doing like 50-100 mpw. Isn't one of the top African distance runners a former ping pong player? If anything, it shows me what it takes to run that fast so then I know how to train and that it is NEVER too late.

Your turkey trot example makes no sense to me. Where was it published that Heath won a turkey trot in middle school or high school?

The Turkey trot example is absolutely perfect.

When my idol Galen Rupp finished in 10th place at the Thanksgiving Turkey trot race…I was devastated.
