seriosuly... wtf...
what are your recovery days at? 9:00 pace
Are you the same guy who posted as "help?"
It is remarkable the bold daring idiots exhibit when hidden behind an anoynmous name.
Looking beyond your "creative" insults (which nearly any American high school male has only heard about 3,000 times), my LT runs were done on a muddy, windy cross-country course following another portion of the workout.
I did 6 x 150m downhill, 15 x 60m up a 15% grade, then the LT, then 6 x 150m on the track.
The pace was designed to stay under control and pick up towards the end. There is no point (and someone can correct me if I am wrong) in trying to raise the lactate threshold and exceeding lactate threshold velocity by a large amount. That is stupid, not effective.
The 2 miler was not hard, nor was it LT pace. It was a lighter session around the time I got sick with the flu.
If you want to speak about "sacking up" (oh, the creative genius boggles my mind), try some 12 mile runs in 6 below weather with 25 mph winds with the flu. Because that is what I did several times last week. And frankly, it was stupid, and I may well race worse, not better, because of it.
But if you want to make inane suggestions and train by bashing your head into the wall, go ahead. I tried it and failed, which is why I am asking for advice.
Apparently, you missed the portion of my request that asked for advice, not asinine grammar school name calling exercises.
I have some advice for you: grow up.
