800 dude, how old are you and what grade are you in kid? and when did you start running? Those are the biggest questions that you have to realize first. Because the reality is you can only push yourself so hard by the time you want to peak or you'll over stress your leg muscles. And the most help full thing to do is to just be consistent with your training everyday same time. And the second most helpful thing is to maintain good nutrition, always have meals on a schedule.

Those are the issues you have to handle probably before anything else.

It would be interesting to see the two face each other this year in the 200 or 400m. Xavier Carter definitely have the talent to be the future for U.S. in 200m - 400m running with his mindboggling potential; however, his love for football may relegate him to being JUST A GREAT 100-400m runner.

Xavier doesn't have the strength to dip under 44. The 200 might be his best event.

This is the next great American track rivalry. The X-man is a beast but Wariner is too cocky to just roll over. I think Wariner rolls him for the next year or two then X-man finds his stride and strength and breaks Johnsons record.
