The truth loving Oscar fought with all his might..but lost. The gun and a large knife both jumped into his hand. He threw them to the ground and kicked the gun in the stomach. The gun leaped from the floor jumping into his hand again! Forcing Oscar's finger on the trigger and forcing point of aim! It was horrible for Oscorlitto. Actually tests will reveal the gun fired all by itself! Believe Oscar and his previous tough guy assaults, it was not his fault. Send him to the Olympics believe his poor stories. Poor Oscarolito.

The police in South Africa are saying there is no credence to the story that she surprised him and he accidently shot her.

The guy looks guilty and he is not and never has been a good guy. Look at his record. He has a background of abuse toward women. He was also a joke on the track with his out of shape look and pot belly, beating well trained hard working runners and taking the spotlight away from those who trained hard. Everyone knows the carbon blades were a huge advantage and he could have made them faster, but didn't because if he won then his credibility would be shot. Now his girlfriend is shot.

If she's a model, maybe she flew back early from a shoot out of town on a red-eye to surprise him on Valentines.

It seems really premature for them to be saying that, only a few hours after the incident unfolded, when they have very little evidence in front of them. Unless Pistorius did kill her on purpose and was dumb enough to straight up tell the police that.

I don't think you would ever hear a statement like that from the cops in the US so soon after a crime.

What I hear about the SA police is that they are very corrupt. The way that this case has been handled so far doesn't give me a lot of confidence that this will be handled fairly.

It will be interesting to see what facts are released in the next few days.

Either way, a young lady is dead and it was unjustified, a horrible tragedy.

He lives in his house with three big dogs. If the dogs were on the property, it would cut against the "surprise" defense.

I'm sure that dogs get killed all of the time by the career criminals that are so common there. I don't think the lack of dogs barking would be considered a reason to assume that someone walking through your house is a friend.

4 hit shots. Screaming was heard before, during, or after. 3am. Gated community with high walls, razor fence, and 24 hour guards. Are any of these false that I read about? because I'm trying to figure out the burglary angle from all that.

Canada Coach. I'll bet you 1 million dollars you can't beat him on your bike in a 100 or even a 200. Second. Using the name Canada Coach is laughable... don't you realize that Canadian athletes suck (besides Ben Johnson who was Canada's best athlete).

The Pistorius story is yet another example of something that happened because the people around him AND the media glorified him and kept everyone in the dark about what kind of person he really way.

It always disgusts me when things like this happen and all of a sudden we hear a hundred different accounts of how he suddenly had a past we knew nothing about. Almost every famous person who suddenly falls from grace had some baggage that people around them knew about and did nothing with. How many people knew Tiger Woods was screwing around on his wife? How many knew that Whitney Houston/Michael Jackson was doping? How many knew that Lindsey Lohan was constantly high and drunk? Yet the world is supposed to be shocked when bad things happen? I can only blame those people around them for being enablers and deniers. And the media for ignoring it for a shot at an interview.

Apparently many many people knew what Pistorius was like, that he actually used to abuse his girlfriend and led a wild and reckless life.

How come this was never fully reported before?

There are many people out there who are culpable for her death. He may have pulled the trigger, but I bet not many people told him to stop abusing her. I would love to hear of one local news report that said cops came to his house on a domestic violence call. Tell me of one friend who said he had beaten his girlfriend?

Frankly Im just disgusted that this happened and nothing was ever done earlier to prevent him fro killing her.

And YES, I'm going ahead and calling it murder.

Just want to add how stunning it is when these guys with dream gigs; running for millions, basketball for multi million dollar deals; are blowing it.

After all the "discussion" on the subject whether he should be allowed to run....

they assign Oscar the exterminator role (that he would not be able to implement, as he started running well behind), this time without any previous "discussions", throwing the champions on the edge of his blades: all running on the same track the third 4*400 relay.

Reminder: this is upscaling the celebration of the destruction of natural sports at the closing of the world championships 2011, when the destruction of athletics was celebrated by "simply" having Oscar Pistoris run the first relay (in separate tracks) and being the first blade runner to get a medal.
