I don't know how much speculation has been done about possible side effects from baldness medication (maybe propecia or proscar) being one of the reasons behind the disappearance of Webb's world-class running form starting in late 2007.

Do some research on the side effects of finasteride- this stuff can derail your endocrine system. Doctors who prescribe these drugs are either ignorant or are bought off by big pharma. Like so many drugs the medical industry pushes, money and profits trump health and safety.

Does anyone know whether Webb's hair-growth in 2007 was related to propecia? Or did he get a transplant? If there was prescription medication behind his hair growth it might have affected his endocrine system.

In the interview, the interviewer mentions watching the race with Alan's coach, "Jason." Presumably, "Jason" is Jason Vigilante.

What is more shocking, Webbs 1:55 800 or Stember's 19:30 5k. I still go with Stember's 19:30 5k, which is a high school JV time.

The best time Webb has done after his AR for the mile is a 3:35 1500 in Europe, and a 3:51 fifth avenue mile. He is now a long shot to make the Olympic team.

Webb will come back strong in 1500 trials.

Since when did Webb get so injury prone?

fall of 2007 and into 2008 when he admitted he increased his workouts from the previous year and ended up doing too much. like Mr. Scott said sometimes runners come back from over training and sometimes they don't or it can take some runners several years to make it back to a healthy regimen.
