Also, the motte & bailey tactics of the protesters are enraging to me, despite not agreeing with ICE tactics most of the time. That is not a political take at all, just a gut-level response to that kind of behavior.
You didn't say anything to refute, you rabid twerp. You just cried and threw out insults and nonsense, per usual. Completely unable to address the fact that ICE is routinely breaking the law, wrongfully detaining people, committing human rights abuses and facing absolutely no consequences for it. An unaccountable, rogue branch of law enforcement inevitably leads to unrest. But you, in your infinite stupidity, blame the liberal media and the liberal posters of Letsrun.
Your mental illness is showing.
How does one "wrongfully detain" someone who has broken the law?
What human rights abuse?
You sound like a hysterical 12 year old girl. Nothing you are whining about is real.
What is the point of having laws if you can claim beinf detained for breaking them is a violation of your human rights??
Youre an absolute moron.
What is "evil" about enforcing bipartisan laws?????
So, right wingers are all scared that they will be gunned down by some random shooter. Just like what my kids fear every time they go to school.
You dont have kids you incel moron...
And if your imaginary kids are afraid of getting shot everyday it would only be because your stupid @ss has been lying to them about the threat.
They are many times more likely to be killed in a traffic accident while your wife's boyfriend takes them for ice cream than they are to be killed at school.
No. It is because of the school shooter training that Governor Abbott put in place following the Uvalde school shooting. My kids (elementary age at the time) were told that they had to immediately shut and lock the classroom door when there was a school shooter alarm. They were told not to open the door under any circumstances, even if their friends or teacher was stuck on the outside and was screaming for help as the shooter approached.
But I agree that this is an irrational fear because people in states like Texas and Utah are allowed to open carry, which means that the best protection from a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Or maybe that isn't working out so well after all.

And if these ice agents were "evil" or "fascist" or "nazis" as the Democrat party claims every single day they would just kill all of these people or beat them half to death.
Every position the left holds is refuted by reality.
These idiots are outraged by the caricatures and strawmen they've invented in their tiny diseased minds.

Charlie Kirk’s killers parents, if asked, would have told you their son was a good guy with a gun.
Good guys can turn into bad guys without much notice or provocation

A U.S. citizen was caught in the middle of the Trump administration???s aggressive approach to immigration enforcement. Andrea Velez says she was wrongfully arrested this past summer in downtown Los Angeles during an ICE raid...
A man who was wrongfully detained during an immigration operation in suburban Chicago spoke exclusively with NBC Chicago about his experience. NBC Chicago???s Natalie Martinez has the story.
A Utah man was wrongfully detained in Texas, according to his lawyer, who says his criminal record doesn't meet the legal threshold for deportation or even detention.
Juan Carlos Lopez-Gomez was born in the city of Cairo. This week, on his way to work, he was wrongfully detained by ICE agents. Now, the community is rallying together to ensure that never happens again.

We shouldn't do tornado drills either then eh? Since tornadoes basically never hit schools. Its too traumatic for the students. Particularly the students that go home to unhinged moron parents that lie to them about how common tornadoes in schools are....
And if you recall in Uvalde good guys with guns ran in and killed the shooter while the cops hid outside.
Wtf do you think would have happened if we went your way and only had social workers hiding outside??
When and why do probabilities matter to you, and when and why do you just decide to chuck them out the window?
This will be funny.
Let's see your numbers math wiz.
Step back. I didn't ask you to bring numbers to bear on any one question right now.
The question was about when, why, and in what way you pay attention to probability.
How do you define “all”? When does “all or nothing” thinking apply, and when do proportions and probabilities apply?
How much (and what kind of) reasoning is required to make determinations about an extended group of conditional probabilities when you have incomplete information?

You think we have incomplete information on school shootings and traffic deaths?
I think the left is the side that struggles with proportion because the national media sensationalizes school shootings and completely ignores traffic deaths and the majority of mass shootings which are gang related.

Without googling it if you asked the typical Democrat how many kids have been killed in school shootings what number do you think they'd come up with? Do you think number would be higher or lower than reality? What is your number?
I apologize for not making that point clear enough for you.
When I said, “I didn't ask you to bring numbers to bear on any one question right now,” I thought I was being clear about not being primarily concerned at the moment about, say, school shootings, and traffic deaths.
Nor was I going to say that I’m concerned about statistics related to the major majority of mass shootings.
I asked you a question about your thinking and your decisions about what you post.
so: when and why do you decide to pay attention to probabilities, and when and why do you decide to chuck probabilities out the window?

So you want to ignore the actual numbers from which the actual probabilities are calculated ...
Is it possible in your mind that I make the claims I make because I have actually looked at the numbers and made a determination based on the probabilities?
So all of the victims were detainees and none were ICE agents. Yet, the FBI, which lied about bullet casings just a couple weeks ago, is using a photo of a bullet with "anti-ice" scribbled on it as proof that this was ideologically-motivated, targeted attack against law enforcement, before we know anything about the shooter. Who is gullible enough to buy this sh*t?
Patel has negative credibility at this point. He needs to go.
