Hard to say, but her chances are pretty good in the 800 and she seems to like it more.

We’ll be sure to ask her why she chose the 800. I’m surprised she didn’t double but she told me at GST Philly that she might just do the 800. Maybe that’s where her heart is.

And then they world indoor champ Prudence Segokiso steps off the track with 250 to go. I was interviewing Hunter Bell and didn’t see why. Was Segodiso caught up in the fall? She should have finished as I think the rules talk about finishing the heat and making an honest effort. I’ve always argued that they shouldn’t care if you finish but I think the do.

Anyone see it? We can’t rewind her in the mixed zone.

USA has earned its first medal in the men’s javelin since Breaux Greer in 2007. Curtis Thompson had a big early third before the rain hit.
