I've been following the story since 2019, with Epstein's arrest and mysterious death just a few weeks later. It has been non-stop since then, with the arrest of Madame Maxwell in 2020, and the subsequent conviction and all the appeals. During that timeframe, there was a slow release of information up until 2024, as a bunch of sealed documents were released in the "Giuffre vs. Maxwell" trial, between 2019 and 2024 -- raising many more questions than answers.
I was most confused why Trump campaigned so much on releasing the files, knowing he was all over the documents already released. Donald Trump Jr. and J.D. Vance also talked about releasing the files during the campaign. They were not alone:

Let's review the right's positions on this:
1) Trump didn't do anything.
2) If he had, the Biden Administration would have leaked it.
3) Bill Clinton is definitely named and is a pedo.
Therefore:
By releasing the files, Trump could exonerate himself and throw Clinton under the bus.
