"How is Djokovic thee GOAT, let chumps count the ways."
When chumps count quarterfinals, he has the most. When chumps count semifinals, he has the most. When chumps count finals, he has the most. When chumps count titles, he has the most. When chumps count wins, he has the most.
And when we discuss the GOAT rather than lines on a spreadsheet, the debate rages
I love spreadsheets - especially when they prove my point and put a screeching halt to any debate.
Now if you'd like to provide a counterpoint for someone else as the GOAT, I'm all ears. Until you do that, Djoker stands as the undisputed GOAT.
What a difference a few months make. Back in the French Open thread it was, “Djokovic would’ve beaten Alcaraz but unfortunately he had to play Sinner!”
Now it’s “Alcaraz swept him in straight sets but he tried hard!”

Choker fans and frantic rationalizations. A legendary duo
There was hardly any doubt about the above statement even before Novak Djokovic beat Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 (3) 7-6 (2) in the final at the Paris Olympics to win his first Olympic gold medal.
If you don’t care about the sport then you don’t have to be in the thread. But since you’re here you must be part of the .1%. And if that’s the case, you would also know he just become the individual to make it to more grand slam semis than anyone who has ever played the game in history.
At this point I don’t think you’re entirely sure what the point you’re trying to make is. You’re upset that you entered a thread about a tennis player, and some fans of tennis talked about a tennis players recent matches and accomplishments. Go touch some grass, or clay if you prefer, and get a life buddy.
I simply don’t give people credit for making semis. Hitting a green ball as good as 3 other people.
You keep showing you don't understand the basics of the game. The ball is yellow, not green.
Wrong, Federer was 37 when he choked away two match points to Djokovic in the 2019 Wimbledon final.
Djokovic making the 2024 Wimbledon final, also at 37, while sick with Long Covid is a far greater accomplishment, a medical marvel for the ages.
He went on to win the 2024 Olympic gold medal, which proved, as you've wisely said before, that he had Long Covid but had recovered from it. Unfortunately, as sports writers have said for decades, Long Covid is undefeated, and Long Covid came back and got him so bad he only made the semifinals of every Grand Slam in 2025.
