Djokovic defies age yet again and there is only one thing that enables that.
Not everyone ages as badly as you did.
What a pleasure to watch the match. As almost everyone who watches tennis anticipated, the idea of Novak overcoming the top ranked player currently was unlikely. He still had fight in him today. To watch him making the semifinals playing kids 15 years his junior is an experience we fans should all cherish. Watching the GOAT tangling with the next generation, as the torch is passed, is an opportunity we are lucky to have!
Sinner is Djokovic 2.0. Long and lean. Built to meet the demands of the racket technology. Tennis is now an endurance sport, especially at the French open. Sinner and Djokovic are very efficient tennis machines and are able to generate exceptional racket head speed with their perfect technique and long wingspan without expending much energy (comparably). This is why they are always able to come up with the big winner on a long rally after multiple deuces/break points.
You aren't comparing two athletes of the same age. Djokovic is a sports generation older and yet still pushing the best player in the world.

That opportunity is only enabled by modern pharmaceuticals.

That explains a lot. WADA said he didn't intentionally dope or gain from it.
I guess that’s a good thing for the sport! Not as good as being on the tour for multiple decades and never running into a grey area but better than outright doping. Seems like a Salazar situation with massages and pushing the limits of legality. Personally though I would rather be in the position of not testing positive.

You mean like most dopers, since only a fraction test positive? If you think Djokovic not eating cake is why he took his tennis to another level in 2011 then I have a bridge to sell you.
But if you think Sinner is actually doping then that would guarantee Djokovic is. At 38 he is better than he was in his early 20's.

You are free to throw out all the innuendo you’d like but I have no interest in that. The facts are the facts. Sinner agreed that he was at fault for a positive test and served his ban. He acknowledged it, accepted personal responsibility, and moved on. I am unaware of any similar situation regarding Novak. You can feel free to correct me.

LOL imagine thinking anyone at top of tennis is clean

Again, no desire in a conversation where we are free to wholly make up anything we want while saying facts mater. If you can point me towards anything specific you are talking about I will be happy to oblige.

Yes. Djokovic play well. He would beat Alcaraz. Sinner too much but Djokovic amazing player at age 38. Amazing.

If world top 5s are taking easily detectable anabolic steroids... you have a doping problem.

It’s always a shame seeing someone go over the edge in the pursuit of a goal. And when players do that there should be consequences. I understand if you think it’s so rampant and Sinner probably did not face a stiff enough penalty to provide a precedent, but at least he agreed with the decision. Thankfully Novak, as far as I’m aware, does not have any stains on his career.
... and the fact is you are a beta with weak DNA so of course you rant and rave at the alpha males who got all the chicks in high school and are naturally great athletes, unlike you.

Alpha males don’t need to dope nor do they get long covid
