Whenever he's against elite competition, he's always so keen to show he belongs, that he kills himself at the front of the race for the first 60% of it before completely dying.
Then he'll go race a super quick time at a random meet against no one.
I loved that for Fisher. He’s using GST to try different things tactically. First he worked on his kick. Today he destroyed the field with a sub-4 for the last 1600. He’s going to be ready for anything in Tokyo.
I like Grant but he has been annoying me at Grand Slam. Four races so far and he hasn't made any of them fast even when he is the strongest in the field.
And he's 200k richer.
You expect a race to be "fast" without rabbits and 80 degree heat. They need to get a top African who is in shape to make this interesting. Hagos, Yomif, etc. Or Jakob obviously.
Trey Cunningham made $100,000 for 23.16 seconds of work. That’s the equivalent of $15.5 million per hour. Anyone else getting that kind of value for their time?

yup. gotta bring in the talent.
that said, i was pleased enough with a fast 1600.
waiting until the last 400 of a 5000 is too much for me.
