I believe scientists have measured the firmament at about 40 billion light years away, so 93,000,000 miles would be quite local.
Of course the sea is acting like a mirror, reflecting the relatively distant sun. Who hasn't seen every car's mirror warning that "objects may appear closer than they are". Although I can't rule out another possibility is that the hotspot is simply CGI.
Of course we can see satellites from space if you are close enough and looking in their direction. There is just a lot more space in space.
Serious question: when a flat-earther looks out at the sea, do they think the curvature is supposed to be left to right, or front to back? Globers will tell you it's front to back, and that the left to right horizon is the same height because it is all the same distance away from the observer on the beach.

I think we don't agree on the definition of basic words like "legitimate" and "proof" and "fact".

The moon is a natural satellite. We can also see with our naked eye that the moon is a globe. Just look at it. If the moon is a globe, why wouldn't the Earth also be a globe too? It is. It's all explained by gravity and how large celestial bodies are formed.
You can also see man made satellites with your naked eye. I have several times. The ISS can be seen after sunset and before sunrise, as the sky is dark when the sun is below the horizon but is still shining on objects over head in space. Look it up at "Spot The Station" and look up your viewing location. It will tell you the exact times the ISS will be visible, the angles it will appear and disappear, and how long it will be visible. It's all real. Pretty cool to see. It appears exactly as predicted, of course, because the orbit is known. See it for yourself. Then stop trolling with stupid BS.

I've flown nonstop from Tokyo to NYC, about a 12 hour flight. I landed before I took off, in local time respectively. I've also sailed halfway around the world, including crossing the International Date Line.
As I've stated above, I've seen the International Space Station with my naked eye several times after looking up viewing opportunities based on its known orbit.
These are all real things I've done which confirm what I've learned about our world and the universe around it.
Flat earthers are "taking someone else's word" for what they believe about the world. And what credibility do those "someone else" have? Zero.
All we need to do is look at the moon, the seasons, the tides, the length of days (sunlight) at different latitudes. It all makes perfect sense. It all fits with what humans now know about the earth and the solar system. To ignore all that is willful ignorance.
I've encountered a few flat Earth nuts and many more trolls. They share the same asinine talking points, but ignore even the most obviously correct counterpoint. I feel sorry for the few who really believe it since they are wilfully ignorant of an amazing world. Those with children essentially abuse them.
