Actually there isn't a whole lot of it here either. Have you heard of the Pike's Peek 10K? Its a very popular point to point course run along Rockville Pike with a substantial elevation drop. Its advertised as a PR course.
Its a fairly competitive race, bringing in some good runners (Dan Browne and Jen Rhines hold the course records). I can understand someone racing it for competition, fitness,fun, etc. But if you count it as a 10K pr, you are simply lying to yourself (and others if you brag about it). Why is that so hard for some people to grasp?
