By your own logic, it's sexist to assume men are more likely to assault women than women are so why are you concerned about "naked men in women's locker rooms"?
fair question... I don't think naked men should be in womens locker rooms and I don't think naked women should be in mens locker rooms. call me old fashioned.
But I never mentioned anything about assault I was responding to your stated stereotype that men are more likely to harass trans people. Do you agree that is a stereotype?
I agree with you, the reply that 17-20 year old girls should be forced in their most vulnerable environment, the bathroom... the changing room to see a male penis of a man who has made zero effort and is sexually attracted to women is appalling. The statements that these children, these young women should deal with it sounds like the words of a pedophile and sexual deviant. No 17-20 year old woman should deal with this abuse.
The athlete in question, is a male with testicles and a penis who gets erections and has not transitioned. IF he was walking though the locker room with a vagina, a birth certificate corrected, a passport, drivers license and a plea of "I am trying", maybe... maybe... but this is sexual abuse on every level.
I guarantee you, the majority of 17-20 year old women have seen a penis. Not saying it is right (hell I don't like seeing schlongs in male locker rooms) but to pretend that young women a fragile little things that need a big bad man to project them is just has harmful. Especially when the right wing doesn't want to extend reproductive rights to these same women.
Every woman I know who has been a victim of an exhibitionist male describes being shocked, scared, and disturbed. This isn't fragility. It's an appropriate fear response and a rational reaction to a predator.
Moving on, the problem with the excesses of postmodern trans activism in the political realm is that the primary people openly speaking out about it in the United States are on the political right; centerists or leftists who express concerns get called right-wingers, so it's a no-win situation. Because of this, women now have to choose whether they're going to vote for a party that wants to outlaw abortion (PS: I know that the decision to overturn Row just kicks the issue back to the states) or the party that wants to effectively define women out of existence in the name of inclusion. I'm not in love with people who want to return to traditional gender roles, but don't pretend that Democrats or the left have any moral ground to stand on here.

Men are more likely than women to harass or assault trans women. Men are more likely than women to harass or assault non-trans women.

Neither are sexist statements.
got it, neither is this then, right? "men on average have higher intelligence than women by 3-5 IQ points"
Recent studies conclude that men on average have higher intelligence than women by 3-5 IQ points. However, the ultimate evolutionary question of why men should have evolved to have higher intelligence than women remains. We s...
Rather than painting this as a Democratic wish, understand that the vast majority of Democrats do not think that women should have to compete with men in sports. Similarly, they do not think that women and men should share locker rooms. The rest follows from those two points.
Then which party's wish and legislation is it?
Exactly. Allowing transgender females to compete against women is the result of the court case between Renee Richards and the WTA in 1977. The issue hasn’t been litigated sense.
clearly you love women as shown by calling the ones that disagree with you "uneducated and thicker"? Your stance is "I love women who agree with me but the ones who disagree with me are fat and dumb"? And " open minded queens" whatever that means are the fun ones?! Got it. It's an interesting perspective. I haven't really heard that viewpoint before so thanks for sharing.
That's kind of the liberal view in summary is it not? Liberal view .... 'We love everyone except that ones that disagree with us and the ones that disagree with us are dumb and terrible and deserve 0 rights.' Do your liberal friends share these views with you?As expected, this thread is exemplary of the liberal ideals. So, thank you for participating.
I mean to be fair it's not just liberals who play the moral high-ground game with anyone who disagrees with them. Conservatives do it too.
Coming from someone who thinks there's a lot of people on both sides with their heads wayyyyy to far up their own asses.

Nah it's what 13-19 year old girls that never log off Twitter want. They know nothing about anatomy or athletics and if you disagree with them you're a hateful bigot lmao
HE hadn't had surgery, meaning he still had testicles, which is the male organ and they allowed HIM into the female restroom and to compete?
Transgender Female competitors at minimum to make an argument of inclusion should demonstrate "effort" with at least completing the surgery and having testosterone in proper guidelines equal to female competitors... in my opinion, this was a man who is a cross dresser. Which is to say a man who likes to dress as a woman but is still a man!
Reality... MEN SHOULD NOT BE COMPETING WITH WOMEN.
Reality... This is not a Caster Semenya "Intersex" argument, at least intersex "i" have an argument as biological females with ambiguous genitilia which is 1-organ. This is wrong on so many levels.
this is clearly a male with male anatomy. I feel horrified for those young ladies. He still had testicles~!

Then why do they vote for people who do? It was Biden who repealed Trump's Title XI regs which denoted rights based on sex, not gender. Libs walking back their support for "trans rights" in women's sport is kind of funny to me.
