POLL: Do you believe Shelby Houlihan is guilty or not?

I'm thinking this is a very common excuse, almost like it's part of the doping 'plan'.

Tyson Fury ate 'uncastrated boar meat' specially imported from Ireland when he had his nandrolone bust (he'd also never heard of it.).

Although people have said there are better drugs to use in terms of effectiveness, is this one still being used because they can manufacture an alibi as they go?

Fury had his bust right at the time he was losing about 100lbs of bodyfat for his next fight, so for me there's little doubt he was guilty.

She is with the good Nike group so although she tested positive, we like her and she is clean. The bad Nike group athletes are all dirty even though none have tested positive. Everybody knows this so I don't understand the confusion.

I dont know whether she doped or not, and the Mexican angle seems a bit thin but....

The whole process is faulty on many levels and inspire ZERO CONFIDENCE:

- cant keep up with the new stuff;

- threshold levels based on unreliable studies or alltogether out of whack;

- pooling of all the doping offenses together (why would she need Nandrolone of all things and why she gets punished for that if it doesnt help her?);

- proven cases of hit jobs (Alex Schweizer anyone?)

- inconsistent outcomes (some athletes got a pass, some get cleared later on, and some get the shaft)

- political pork-sh*t at its finest.... not particularly a fan of the swoosh but it smells they are out there getting at Nike. They now have another shot after clumsily failing with Salazar, who only got a slap in the wrist

So for all these reasons WADA & co have ZERO CREDIBILITY. And while some people are out there cornering the system, till they get their act together they are unfit for purpose to ban anyone.

If it's true she took a lie detector test and passed, then that means she has an 87 percent chance to be telling the truth.

Who in their right mind would believe that neither Houlihan nor Schumacher knew what Nandrolone is. Also what professional athlete with olympic medal hopes eats a burrito from a food truck... And keeps a receipt of it. And has GPS turned on.

believe she's completely clean. this dumb process is upsetting me to the point of not wanting to follow the sport at all any more.

Is it that hard to learn something about nandrolone? It is NOT 17-alkylated AAS, thus cannot be processed by the liver. It has to be injected into the muscle. In order to have metabolites for which the tests are made, it has to be INJECTED.

Her excuses are as childish as those made by Baumann (toothpaste), or Fury. She had just plain and simply doped. Period.

Nandrolone decanoate has a long half life, and traces of the metabolites could be found in urine samples even a year after the injection, but it is also a very popular AAS, because it is very potent even in small doses, and usually could be masked quite easily. however, human body does not function like an algorithm, and sometimes even the best PED program fails.

Nandrolone phenylpropionate has a shorter half life, and is used quite often in professional sports. It still can be found in urine as metabolites for several months, if not covered properly.

Definitely guilty. Also, they can't help but continue to lie. The "I'd never heard of nandrolone" statements by both Houlihan and Schumacher are damning. Of course they have. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she used nandrolone is because it provides for the "I ate pork" excuse.
