A year on, how is Quigley holding up, and her sponsorship decisions?
She had a strong 2022 USA Outdoor semifinal, but did not compete in the final and I can't find out why.

Guess you've never read a book or did any research on your own. I've got daughters who are athletes. I've coached their sports. I've read lots of articles about the female athlete triad and why female athletes have higher incidence of stress fractures, ACL tears, etc. Do some research before dismissing theories out of hand and resorting to infantile name calling.

"One thing I DO know for sure is that limiting your body’s fuel during injury is a serious offense and should never be a coping mechanism no matter what. This is something I have definitely been guilty of doing in the past- I told myself that if I can’t run that means I can’t afford any “extra” calories from foods that aren’t packed with nutrients. This policy would leave out foods that might give me joy and comfort like a weekly glass of wine or bowl of ice cream. This policy can also easily slip into a caloric deficit where you are actually burning more calories than you are taking in on a daily basis. When your body is stressed it burns calories. When your body is healing it needs calories and nutrients to do that important work. The absolute WORST thing you can do to your body during injury is not give it the fuel it needs to heal."

Go on with you. I searched this board for quigley and couldn't find it, so I latched onto a thread already made. I found the results, and saw she was a DNS for the final. I looked around. Don't be so offended by my question. I should have perhaps said "is she still relevant in this event" to be more accurate. Perhaps that would be less triggering for you.

To answer your question no she’s not relevant in this event. Now that Courtney Wayment has entered the room there is no longer a hope in hell for Quigley.
