I agree with this post, in general.
Needs to end, not just to save lives but to end this war for america. to help average americans not get further shafted by rich americans.
average americans are being hurt by blowing money on this waste. Billions sent to this bs? america has 4 times more homeless per capita than Russia and this will make even more homeless americans. more pentagon budget for its military industrial complex profits going to corporate america; profits that average americans NEVER see in their wages, which always stay WAY below inflation.
Job numbers are increasing? REALLY?! jobs with non-livable wages... Who gives af. people have 2 and 3 jobs because none pay a surviving wages. and that's twisted as good job numbers!! ffs
And more people have ACCESS to insurance they can't afford
with the ACA? Really? a republican healthcare plan written by for-profit insurance companies? again, who gives af. The massive pentagon budget, which is completely unregulated and invisible, trillions unaccounted for, will always make sure america never starts real publicly financed universal healthcare. america is not good enough to match the developed world on cost. we just have the best medicine in the world... that millions can't afford
Its always empty posturing by rich america to keep average americans suckling on Fox/CNN. keep you silent. Here's a boogyman called "Russia". It's bright and shiny, like your other meaningless play toys: gender, race, religion, sexuality. Now play with Russia! and STFU about us stealing from you as we transfer your wealth upwards with more wars, bailouts, and every crisis.
When this war ends, and america's LNG goal is more established, nobody will care at all that Russia has Donbas, like they didn't care about Crimea. america could care less about any of these eastern slavs. america doesn't care about its own people. As long as rich america gets theirs, which means LNG being sold to Europe from america. That means poor america will never get anything from america's LNG scam on Ukraine/Russia and Europe.
wages in america will not increase because america is selling its LNG to Europe. Universal healthcare will not start in america because rich americans are getting richer off LNG sales. weapons dumps to war zones and to NATO = same thing. average americans subsidizing weapons dumps will never change the lives of average americans in any meaningful financial way. It will only hurt them.
This all only hurts average americans, as every war and crisis now does. "war is good for the economy" "economy / american interests" are code for "rich people". Maybe 70 years ago it was better for average americans. not now.
And as long as you Fox/CNN sheeple stay distracted, you won't know why you can't pay rent or healthcare. Or why you filed bankruptcy, work 2 or 3 jobs, must live with friends/family, have little / no savings, or went homeless. Or you know people experiencing these things.
