They are also very reliable and easy to maintain. UA wants tanks, but the West is still resisting sending tanks, probably because of redlines draw by Russia. These deliveries are more than likely in anticipation of a big battle this spring with RU re-invading from Belarus to the north and UA trying to make a decisive push in the east against weary RU defenses. RU's battlefield losses of armored vehicles has been catastrophic and they may be reaching a breaking point where they will start to see critical shortages of armored vehicles. The only issue for UA is whether they will have sufficient supplies of artillery for all the new armored vehicle capacity. The West greatly reduced its capacity to produce artillery over the past few decades as militaries have shifted from a strategy of large armored divisions to reliance on air superiority and special forces. So, it is taking a lot of time to rev back up the manufacturing needed to make the artillery needed.
