re: SNALPs, I will say this: for those of you who are paranoid about the use of mRNA vaccines... you ain't seen nothing yet. The future is going to be full of these things, and they won't just be used for vaccines. They'll be used for treating diseases - not just a few diseases, but a huge range of them - as well as things like gender affirming care, performance enhancement, longevity, etc. They represent a paradigm shift in biotech. If there are problems with them, we need to know why ASAP. To be quite honest, I was surprised that the mRNA vaccine works as well as literature indicates it does given the rate of offtarget uptake of SNALPs that's been highlighted in the few presentations on their use that I've attended. Maybe offtarget uptake is not a problem for a vaccine? But it will be for therapeutic use

I noticed that people who are old and frail have more doctor appointments and seek out the shots more. I wonder if it could be something else other than the shots as to why they’re still not as spring chicken like as 20 year olds. Must be the shots.
I also notice that people who are bad at rollerblading go out and buy rollerblade pads and put on before they rollerblade, but still fall a lot more than people who do not go out and buy the pads. Your response is the ultimate Dunning-Kruger. These mRNA vaccines have been in trials for over ten years!!!! And? So? In humans or ferrets, in vivo or in vitro for the entire ten years? Among pregnant women or patients with autoimmune disease? Infants, children? Just who is the test case here?
You think all of the DNA contamination (and there’s way more than there should be) is just digested and has ZERO chance of integrating in the nucleus? Do you really believe that?
Widespread DNA contamination would bring into question the quality of the entire mRNA injection manufacturing process, safety systems, and regulatory oversight.
We’re not talking about China. I’m simply answering the original question about the premise for vaccines. Often, there’s a solid premise with decades of substantive research and trials to support it. This mRNA vaccine is fraught with problems, not the least of which is immune exhaustion and the hyper production of IgG4. Oh, but that’s just meaningless and ubiquitous, right?
You do realize that Dr Chetty didn’t lose one patient, and he was treating many high risk in a rural setting. So these numbers of 300,000 or 1,100,000 deaths are just silly, because 95% of them could’ve been prevented. But the RCTs! 👆We don’t have good RCTs! Hate to break it you buster, but in the fall I'll be working on earning my 6 year PharmD/PhD.
Personally, I choose to “wait and see” for the known risks of chronic heart issues, auto immunity, and other potentially debilitating issues caused by repeated unvaxxed COVID infections.
We KNOW repeated respiratory infections are bad, especially without exposure during childhood. A lot of people are willingly owning themselves to… make me upset?
