second off, short of nuclear weapons or gas attacks, RU doesn't have the capacity to fight much harder.
Winds are blowing from Ukraine directly to Moscow. Putin would be pissing into the wind and find himself covered in his own piss.
Moscow will be devastated by any nukes Putin drops. And between the border and Moscow lie a wide swatch of the best agricultural lands, a lot of industry, and many military bases that protect Moscow's southern borders.

You're under the mistaken impression that Putin cares about Russian lives.
If dead Russians bothered him he wouldn't be snatching untrained men off the street and dropping them off in Ukraine with no training and no support.
Even despots know that slaughtering and torturing civilians only hardens resolve, but they just can't help themselves. Us runners leaning to the masochistic side, can struggle with how satisfying inflicting pain is to a true sadist.
The nitwits crow about missiles being launched, but never bother to check how many missiles actually made it to a target, let alone add up the price of launching them.
The nitwits crow about the power going out in Kyiv, but never bother to find out how long it takes to repair the damage and get the lights back on. Like they're imagining a scenario where Ukrainians all say, "Oh no, the lights were out for 8 hours again this week! I guess we'd better surrender now."
Again, take a look at what you've been reduced to. You are actually cheerleading an invading country's terror attacks on civilians. Step back and think about it. When you started out reading all the alt-right propaganda you consume, is this what you thought you would end up like? Shameful.

This is what happens when viewing the world through a distorted pinhole of information. Notice that I basically never link the same source, and have plenty of pro-Russian sources I don't bother to link, but I monitor if only for the entertainment value. Seeing so-called journalists like Tucker Carlson fall for their idiotic narrative is sad and pathetic.

Carlson doesn't claim to be a journalist.
Carlson doesn't believe the Russian narrative. He's just not an idiot so he doesn't wholeheartedly believe the Ukrainian narrative either.
He is on tape as saying he is "on Putin's side". At the very least he is an isolationist that just wants to look the other way, while Europe is subjected to it's worst invasion conflict in three generations. Basically lazy and irresponsible. Does he think that Ukraine's petty corruption cancels out Russia's murder, destruction, rape and genocide? That is a hell of a ledger to try to equivocate.

That quote was from before the invasion.
He wants Europe to be the front man in a European war. That's not exactly scandalous.
At no point has Carlson ever excused Russia's behavior or said that Ukraine should have been invaded.
It's "lazy and irresponsible" to send $100 billion to Ukraine with zero safeguards so it can be stolen and abused particularly when the US is $31 TRILLION in debt with crumbling infrastructure, a completely open southern border, and a million other problems that would be better suited for American tax dollars.
We've spent TRILLIONS babysitting Europe the last 100+ years. It's high time those idiots paid their own bills.
European "conservatives" are so cvcked. Their countries aren't strong, so they actually think that Russia may set their sights on them next (even though they're in NATO).
If America cut all aid to Ukraine, the war would end in a week. Or, if Ukraine surrendered immediately, many lives would be spared.
