You act like the US is sending cash. We are sending old military hardware and existing personal to train Ukrainian soldiers. Also, we are battle testing equipment, systems and logistics.
We are also eliminating Russia as an economic competitor. US industries, especially weapons manufacturers are doing very well, stimulating economic growth through all its many economic branches.
A war economy is great for the US, especially one that doesn’t require an investment of US lives.

The Russians can't even get a decent journalists to launder their disinformation through these days. Max Blumenthal is using his Twitter account to promote Jimmy Dore, defend George Santos, and generally support Putin's nuts. I guess it's clear why COG didn't want to source the tweet above.

The above are quote-mined from a 2+ hour video by the Twitter poster to send a very different message than does the interview in general.
While Milburn is critical of atrocities committed by Ukrainian soldiers, poor decisions by their government, and policies imposed by the west, he understands as well the motivations and the failings of Russia.

this is exactly the attitude Putin has, and wants Americans to have - that Americans have low tolerance for pain, that we are weak and decadent, that the public will turn against the war. If we go that route, Putin gets what he wants - a quarter of Ukraine and time to rebuild for the next invasion.
Putin thinks time is on his side, and if many of us think like Deno, he is correct.

We can keep up this level of support indefinitely. We spent more in Afghanistan each year for more than 20 years.

They frame the questions that way for a reason.
I support helping Ukraine.
I support sending weapons to Ukraine.
I supporting sending financial aid to Ukraine.
I do NOT support sending the MAJORITY of it when it's a EUROPEAN war in EUROPE while Europe has as much money as we do. Particularly when Europe only has anything it has because we've already wasted TRILLIONS protecting them since 1945.
