Just finished 5 x 100m strides( far from all out of cose) in 18-20 sec at the rugby grassfoeld nearby my home. Good to get some sprints in the old legs.🧙♂️
That’s pretty solid for a dude your age.
Thanks buddy! 🖐 And it's just progressive paced strides, not all out sprints of course....🧙♂️
That guess about 25 min shape then after some time with short hillreps and no regular training with maxVO2 and threshold intervals as now to give a very clear and good prediction of shape.A timetrial at treadmill then gave I had around 26:30 shape and most truly worse when the serious comeback started.
You don’t need vo2max workouts as a 25 min hobbyjogger, NSM established this, hammer the repeatable threshold effort not pace .
If you want fast sustained progress you need them, but not more than one session per week. And you don't have to do them every week of course, but to do them often . It's the repetitive work at 5 k race pace the human body likes so much to improve energy efficiency/energy consumption and biodynamics at the pace.🇸🇪🧙♂️🇸🇪

Thousands of testimonies from people using NSM prove that you are of course wrong.

Thousands of people using NSM have never tested the DANCAN SYSTEM to compare with ... 😁😉🧙♂️

This is the first thing you've shared that suggests - to me - sub-20 5k potential. Not readiness, per se (need much better long workouts for that), but if those were honest 100 m repeats you at least still have the speed to allow you to get there eventually with time and training.
In the evening I did my easy steady run 45 min @ 5:55 pace . Training times are now pushed to come down even more to close in on the sub 20 min 5 k goal. 🧙♂️
It’s actually the other way around, he now does NSM. Jan must know of whom i am talking about.
Sounds unreasonable. No one pro runner would even think of doing the NSM.
No pro runner would even think of doing “the” Dancan, but yet he did, and now he does “the” NSM, i do not care if you belief me or take my word for it. Same as i do not think Jan’s post are true about his training. But that’s okay 👍🏻
