This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Do you think that the overwhelming majority of medical doctors were fooled too? and the New England Journal of Medicine? Or do you think it is just confusion due to confusion in public messaging but antivaxxers had trouble figuring it out (they didn’t get the inside scoop) and so they turned to some comedians for some answers?
Doctors were told to get with the program or their careers were over. Still happening. Money calls the shots and the people with the spigots were pushing their jab lies. That goes for NEMJ as well.
I notice you did not respond to even one of the several points I made. Just my conclusion
There is no point made there- it is just a public messaging timeline and interpretation from the loons of it being: “I can’t trust public health authorities because I’m paranoid. because the messaging to the public changed over time, the experts therefore must not know what they are talking about.” They didn’t get the inside scoop.
As they should have been (for the doctors promoting those treatments). Good thing for state licensing boards hahahahahhaha. Promoting horse dewormer is harmful. There are a few crazy doctors out there. Fortunately not very many and they find themselves very much in the minority.

Think of all the incompetent medical professionals who lost their licenses by being antivaxxers.

Anyone can easily look at the establishment's own numbers and see that the less vaxxed nations suffered far less from Covid than the highly vaxxed.
Yet some will still repeat the nonsensical mantra that vaccines saved millions of lives.
Notice how they're unable to respond to any of this, nor the stats that show excess mortality in countries across the world not due to covid.
the same thing happens on this thread every time: they just flood out pragmatic, irrefutable points with a bunch of inane posts about "antivaxxers are stupid" "antivaxxers can't do math" "antivaxxers believe in Q" "antivaxxers are rightwing extremists" etc.
it's all just recycled talking points from the pharma-funded media. all ad hominem. all cognitive defense mechanisms because the media told they they were smart and right from Day One, so they have to be smart and right today.
I’ve responded to it about 15 times since he’s posted this about 15 times in the past 2 years. If you correct for age and use excess deaths for places that poor infrastructure for reporting… it’s wrong. Vaccines mean less death.
Successful people in life aren’t really skeptical of the majority of medical doctors and betting on societal collapse, so usually the anti vax company finds themselves stuck in a circle of a bunch of pessimistic Shtbaggers n’losers
I’ve noticed this too. in my area it was my Uber driver
You have to have such a warped view of the world to believe this stuff that it’s not surprising to find these folks in a tough spot in life
It would have to be a world where only Americas Frontline Doctors and comedians can be trusted, because everyone else is in bed with “big pharma.” Therefore, all of society must be headed for death and ruin and we are all doomed.

More than 70 drugs approved by the FDA from 2001 to 2010 ran into safety concerns that prompted withdrawals from the market, "black box" warnings or other actions.

& Vaccines still on the market, still recommended by majority of MDs throughout the world
I guess the majority of people are "antivaxxers" because they didn't follow through with all the doses...
how can you blame them with how many times the CDC and WHO backtracked or changed course? Or that Pfizer wanted clinical data hidden for 75 years? or all the things we were told were 'conspiracy theory' that now appear true? lol
if you get outside the Letsrun echochamber, you find the majority of people quietly distrust the shots and stopped short of getting more for related reasons.
also, why are the people here who got jabbed seemingly so angry and defensive all the time? it's like a bunch of children hurling insults, sticking their fingers in their ears and not listening to any opposing viewpoints

There is a big problem in the USA with reputation and mistrust in medical doctors and public health authorities. The overwhelming majority of medical doctors, including Republican MDs, believe in the vaccines. Even though the majority of Americans (of varying levels of education) are vaccinated, after two shots many of them stopped. I don’t think they “quietly distrust the shots,” they are just wise not to get into it publicly at work, or with friends or neighbors on what became of political issue even though the science is clear (which is why the vaccines are still on the market and recommended by the overwhelming majority of medical doctors worldwide). mistakes were made in public messaging, but It’s kind of hard to get everything with the messaging perfect in the middle of a public health emergency.

The overwhelming majority of medical doctors pushed oxycontin as non addictive

The State of New York, one of the craziest outposts of the Covid establishment. Even they are giving up on a nonsensical policy.
The State Health Department is repealing the Covid-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers, a state attorney said during an appellate court hearing in Rochester on Wednesday.
Many uneducated Americans do “quietly distrust” as they think that because they got the vaccine and vaccinated people still got infected with a mild Covid that the vaccines must not work and that therefore the experts do not know what they are talking about. It is understandable why they would think that, but that is due to errors in public messaging and not because the vaccines are/were not helpful in preventing severe illness and death.

Well, the public health emergency is over so I guess this makes sense? Vaccines still on the market, still recommended by overwhelming majority of medical doctors throughout the world
