Dan, to be fair, that study is only looking at infection versus two doses of vaccine. We already knew, and most scientists agree, that infection was just as good as two doses. What that study does not look at is the booster. However, neither does it look at Omicron lineage infection after initial convalescence. Which I think is superior, and I’ve really seen nothing to convince me otherwise. Now, the hyperbolic gaslighters on here will tell you that you risked your life and hospitalization and autoimmunity if you, as a low risk person, fought off Covid naturally. I just don’t agree. A high risk person? Sure.

given the COVID fatality is < 1% (and lower for LRC posters I’m sure!) I don’t think anyone “risks their life” by any usual definition by getting infected without prior vaccination… but it sure isn’t a smart idea and shouldn’t be encouraged at population level (see: 300k dead Americans that wish they had been vaxxed)

How about the trucks full of bodies in New York City early in the pandemic? Or do you think that wasn’t real? Parts of New York City are a super high density hell hole and yes, high density of fat unhealthy people and the original variant, no protections yet (this was February 2020 when people were only doing things like washing their hands like crazy, experts didn’t appreciate asymptomatic transmission, and there were no vaccines)….. not such a good combination.

Herman Cain said the “people are fed up” and then he croaked. If his family members were confident in his message (live like it’s 2019, take zero precautions), why didn’t they go without protections at his funeral?
(the timing of this dancing 🕺 ^was maybe 6 weeks before the death? Not sure. Herman’s twitter account kept going with his staffers tweeting anti protection stuff while he was in the hospital on a ventilator)

Was never scared when this was out there in the news, but i knew folks working at the hospitals in NYC and I think they can recognize dead bodies and morgue trucks

I recently got sick with covid I didn't have a fever, but the corona caused complications in my weak points, and in addition to spring allergies, I started having acute sinusitis , the doctor prescribed me vitamin C, zinc and D and recommended to from allergies10
