We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Checking in from the control group here. I followed the medical standard of care (the control) and got vaccinated. I had COVID once and it was mild.
God knows why I’d risk forgoing the vaccine just to test out “natural immunity” with a virus that killed 1M Americans. But I respect those who fought and died to show us that the vaccine works!
Odd that one of the most vaccinated nations on the planet has so many Covid deaths while the least vaccinated nations had so few.
Any thoughts on that?
Why did nursing homes have more deaths than preschools despite being more vaccinated?
You’re like a marine on the front lines! Young?, stupid, and fighting for an ideology you were brainwashed into believing. Semper Fi brother.

This strategy's a little more controversial, but fear lies at the heart of decisions about vaccination. Making people feel at risk from COVID-19 would certainly provide greater motivation to seek out the bivalent booster.

This article contains the current number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths per population by country. It also has cumulative death totals by country. For these numbers over time see the tables, graphs, and maps at COVID-19 pandemi...
You can age adjust and excess death as much as you like, there is no comparison.
The less vaxxed nations fared far, far better.
If you look at excess deaths over age 65 for 2021-2022 you’ll see that this is entirely incorrect. You cannot grasp 1) basic demographics 2) simple arithmetic normalization.
Africa is very young and doesn’t have a good system to track COVID deaths, that’s all you’re measuring :)

Was there an age-adjusted "vaccine" campaign ? No. There was a demented maniacal push by you and your fellow henchmen in the vax mob mafia to plunge multiple needles into every last arm - even children as young as 6 months old were targets of your Orwellian medical fascism.
Now you demand a statistical age adjustment among populations with low uptake who made it through Covid with miniscule rates of illness.
Employees who work for Washington state agencies will no longer need the COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of their employment.Gov. Jay Inslee lifted a directive

Your lame BS has collapsed.
I can’t disagree with this.
Nobody is against some vaccination 2600. Well, some are. But this SARS-Cov2 vaccine was unnecessary for broad swaths of the population and, frankly, not all that great. Perhaps it saved lives in very risky groups to begin with, which is sufficient justification for vaccination in those groups. More so, it undermined trust in public health, which is a very unfortunate consequence.
Covid is over. Omicron ended it. Thank God for the control group who cultivated that variant. Now can we all move on to talking about something else truly horrifying, like the dollar being undermined as the world’s reserve currency while all anyone cares about are pronouns and trans rights?
WASHINGTON—A bipartisan group of U.S. senators is reviving efforts to establish a national Covid-19 task force modeled on the 9/11 Commission to investigate the U.S. government response to the pandemic and the disputed origins of the virus.
Advocates have long pressed for such a panel, which would have investigatory powers and issue recommendations about how the U.S. can better prepare for future pandemics. But past legislative efforts have foundered because of partisan disagreement, turf fights in Congress, and a lack of support from the Biden administration, people familiar with the matter said.

1) absolutely! there was for the first 6 months is was prioritized for the elderly in decreasing age tranches
2) you’ve should complete inability to understand basic statistical concepts for years. I’m not surprised this one doesn’t make sense either :)
3) the vaccines have saved millions of lives. If you and Covidicy just want to retreat back to “the vaccines don’t work perfectly” … we can agree!
Vaccination driven immunity reduces COVID risk to low enough amounts that we accept people make anti-social choices again without penalty. Love when you post pro-vax stuff!

Wow, color me utterly unshocked. Who is the one person here who has been alleging this very point for a few years now? That perhaps the “data” isn’t always worth the paper it’s printed on and why cynicism is healthy, even necessary, in rigorous science. “Keeping up with the lit” and promoting one pre-print paper at a time to support ideas like “Covid infection increases autoimmune risk” is utterly irresponsible and, frankly, disingenuous.

Omicron and her sub-lineages ended Covid.
No, but you have correctly described the vaccine cynic mentality.
Skepticism is an open-minded way of thinking about things. Cynicism, on the other hand, is close-minded because it is often a quick reaction or immediate belief that someone is being dishonest. Many scientists are – and should be – skeptical. Skepticism helps scientists critically analyze information and come up with solutions by testing different ideas. In a very basic sense, skepticism challenges views and questions if assumptions are correct or not. Cynicism focuses on the negative parts of a problem. It is good to be a little bit skeptical. It is not good to be cynical. Skeptical people want to have evidence of something before they will believe it is true. Cynical people do not trust any information that they do not personally agree with.
Difference Between Cynicism and Skepticism Cynicism vs Skepticism Cynicism and Skepticism are two concepts and schools of philosophical thought. Some people think that these two concepts are the same, but they do have some im...

Yeah, no Covid vaccines here, mild Covid, no long Covid, no cardiovascular or neurological disease. Robust immunity. Eat extremely well, exercise, get plenty of natural vitamin D. I’m told by a pre-print that I should be nervous about autoimmunity. Lol. Color me a skeptic then. Or a cynic. Either one works.
