My how quick you find a justification to discredit ANYONE who gives the slightest hint that your hero is a POS. Just own your loss dude.
Milley committed treason and there is no getting out of it. This was equivalent to a military coup and he belongs in Leavenworth.

At least you admit the story is true. Technically Miley did commit treason. But he was in a conundrum. He either had to commit treason and defy the president and the constitution or he had to risk a letting a narcissistic mad man president cause more harm to this country.
He made the morally correction decision. Trump was not to be trusted. I am sure that wasn't an easy decision for a military man who spent his life respecting the chain of command.
That is how bad trump was. Miley loved his country.

So you have nothing intelligent to respond with so you label my post a troll to avoid the issue. What’s next? You call me names?
Blinken wasn’t even able to politely say “Congressman, I’m here to answer questions on Afghanistan, not other topics. I’ll be happy to answer questions on other issues some other time.” That’s what countless others have done in similar circumstances but Blinken was befuddled. The Democratic chairman even tried to help Blinken out but Blinken STILL couldn’t smoothly transition back to Afghanistan. He’s in over his head as SecState.
I often wondered how some conservatives could blindly support Trump despite his obvious flaws. Now I see it’s not a trait solely possessed by those on the right. There are many here who won’t criticize Biden or anyone in his administration despite their flaws either. They won’t even admit to those flaws. That’s not intelligence, that’s partisanship and demagoguery.
Once you and the other tzees own your hero's loss outright and state that you were wrong to follow that POS all along, we will think about engaging you on Biden's flaws. Until then, you simply won't have a leg to stand on trying to criticize this administration.

Not a bad reply. Here's fuller version, in the futile hope of educating some of you:
1) Not all faults are created equal. JUST like Trump's dishonesty doesn't equal the average politician's. Trump just got done showing an A+ fault, trying to steal an election. Following his A/A+ fault of not giving a s*** if hundreds of thousands of Americans unnecessarily died during a pandemic (and FACILITATING it in some ways). Following....a REALLY long list.
So, when your average politician comes along and, inevitably, gets some things wrong and has some positions you don't like WHILE the other party is still led by the King of Faults.....geez, surprise, surprise, those who rightfully despise that King won't be terribly interested in discussing the new guy's MUCH lower level faults. Don't act fake surprised about this.
2) Even more important - and stated in the reply above - is with WHOM one is having these discussions? When it's with folks who have no problem with the A and A+ level faults, well, they have absolutely no credibility whatsoever, and no one wants to talk about lower level faults with them. No one wants to sit around with neighbor A complaining about neighbor B's messy yard when neighbor A is known to be fine with murder. It's EXTREMELY simple.
So, don't assume that folks can't see Biden's faults - or that folks who can don't talk about them amongst themselves. They just don't want to talk about them WITH YOU.
Thoroughly Maoist Milley and Beijing Joe are certainly two peas in a stir fry pod.
HEY JOE....Gas has gone up over a dollar per gallon and groceries have risen by 10-20 %
YOU ARE A FRIGGIN MORON...
Sorry to look lazy (and dumb to rely on amateur strangers for my news!), but has Blinken or anyone else in the administration really explained how they planned to get hundreds of thousands of Afghans out of the country before it fell? And OK, the government fell faster than they thought it would. One can debate how much of a failure this poor forecast was. But regardless, they had a solid plan for how to get THAT many people out even if the government survived longer (say, 3-6 months)? I'm skeptical. When was that big effort going to begin?
Having served for 31 years in the military (and done a number of deployments to AFG and other combat zones), I know that DoD (and DoS, I presume) have some really good planners. But I really wonder about this one. And not so much about our ABILITY to properly plan, but the choices that senior leaders made in picking (or simply not picking) workable evacuation plans.

Excellent Post!
This is bad news for Gary and his ilk.
More Bidon winning. More Trump losing.

I might be mistaken but I was under the impression that most of those people were only evacuated because the government fell so quickly. They were only in danger because the Taliban was in control. SIV visa holders/applicants notwithstanding

I know, right? Certainly no drone strikes over the last twenty years have killed innocent civilians before and/or hit the wrong target altogether. For sure this is a first and Rand Paul wants to get to the bottom of this!
