Blinken wasn’t even able to politely say “Congressman, I’m here to answer questions on Afghanistan, not other topics. I’ll be happy to answer questions on other issues some other time.” That’s what countless others have done in similar circumstances but Blinken was befuddled. The Democratic chairman even tried to help Blinken out but Blinken STILL couldn’t smoothly transition back to Afghanistan. He’s in over his head as SecState.
I often wondered how some conservatives could blindly support Trump despite his obvious flaws. Now I see it’s not a trait solely possessed by those on the right. There are many here who won’t criticize Biden or anyone in his administration despite their flaws either. They won’t even admit to those flaws. That’s not intelligence, that’s partisanship and demagoguery.
