This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Nobody actually cares about Fauci. He was director of an NIH sub-division. Not COVID-emperor.
The obsession with him as if he was the single source of information and policy decisions is obviously just rage from antivaxxers and COVID-deniers that know they were wrong, embarrassed, and desperately need a scapegoat.
Nope, actually he was Covid-emperor. That’s exactly what he was. Not czar but Emperor. He dictated policy, even if he wants to backpedal and say he didn’t directly dictate it. He and the resigned Francis Collins buried the Great Barrington Declaration, not allowing for any nuanced conversation around it, even if on its face it wasn’t the most appropriate policy. He generated the narrative to dispel the lab leak hypothesis. He dictated mask policy. He was the face of Covid and a rock star while it lasted. He owns it.
Where on the doll did Fauci touch you?
I can't believe Fauci and Collins called up their friends at the NSA and firewalled the entire GBD from the US internet. What awesome power.
Perhaps you may want to reflect: Maybe people just didn't want to discuss a proposal that was "what if we let more people die of COVID and pretended it wasn't happening."
Finally, the 'lab leak' hypothesis has been the leading (or tied for leading) hypothesis since summer 2020. WTF are you on about at this point? Should we be paratrooping marines into WIV to read their lab notebooks?
Funny how you chopped off the other half of my response. Ok, 300,000 probably obese and/or severely comorbid folks also knocked off by Remdesivir and the vent sedation protocol. They should’ve been vaccinated. I’ve never argued against that. Not even once. Not for those groups of people.
But you know what else would saved the majority of them in addition to steroids? Fluvoxamine, budesonide, etc. Stuff that we didn’t have time to RCT but surely helped and didn’t compromise their kidneys/liver like “Run, Death is Near” just May have done. So, who’s the disingenuous one?
Yeah, I am bored about the 'muh ventilators' stuff that is so 2020. There's no evidence ventilation protocols did anything harmful and Remdesivir -- even if harmful -- was marginally so and didn't cause 300k extra deaths? It's just shameful cope for the fact that you can't refute the obvious deaths antivaxxers caused. Trying to a magic trick with a few orders of magnitude doesn't work on gorillas even.
Fluvoxamine probably doesn't work. If it it does, it's marginal.

Fauci had the power to call in Seal Team 6 to Wuhan and didn’t. What a failure!

But seriously… you do know it’s rare to see a multi drug combo show an effect where each of the individual drugs saw ZERO effect. It’s usually additive or in excellent cases nonlinearly positive.
Having a plausible mechanism for why Drug X will magically make Drug Y super potent is facile and overdone (as seen by the polypharma trials that have failed for COVID)

But, yet, it often works. Treating this virus was as much about treating the inflammation and cytokine storm and thrombosis after the initial infection as much as it was the virus. Many doctors outside the system did this using the anti-inflammatories and anti-thrombolytics that made sense based on their medical training. Our hospitals and public health authorities would hear none of this, so, people died. Pre vaccination. What was the harm in trying it if we were going to sledge hammer the Remdesivir & propofol/ketamine/midozolam protocol anyway?
Funny. Another very pro-vaxx liberal friend who shamed me just told me he has shingles reactivation, despite having that vaccine too. This is the sixth shingles reactivation I know of, all of them vaxxed. How weird. Yet predictable.

Yes multiple drugs work great in many cases. It’s rare that those drugs do nothing on their own. IL6R mAbs help with COVID inflammation, steroids help too, they work even better together. That’s not what I’m talking about.
Im talking about the IVM/HCQ does nothing but when you add Zinc and Curcumin it magically works (spoiler it doesn’t). It’s just not how pharmacology works. There are very niche examples! But going to zero to hero thanks to an extra drug is not an expected or testable outcome.
If it was common we would have to be running all vs all drug combination screens for literally every disease since there are no ways to know what might be working.
I have. I know very well how the vaccines killed millions. The crime of the century, so far.
Wow the vaccine killed millions in 2020 before it was approved?
Now that is serious Fauci-power! Time traveling poisons!
Google: 'excess deaths' and actually read.
Wow. You still believe the Covid counts. 😂🤣
It’s hilarious to watch you try so hard to come across as intelligent, yet you are so completely devoid of common sense. I read about Singapore. What a massacre. The vaccines killed 35x the number killed by the flu, er, I mean Covid.

"This systematic review and meta-analysis of secondary data from 40 studies found that the estimated vaccine effectiveness against both laboratory-confirmed Omicron infection and symptomatic disease was lower than 20% at 6 months from the administration of the primary vaccination cycle and less than 30% at 9 months from the administration of a booster dose. Compared with the Delta variant, a more prominent and quicker waning of protection was found."
"These findings suggest that the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines against laboratory-confirmed Omicron or Delta infection and symptomatic disease rapidly wanes over time after the primary vaccination cycle and booster dose."
This systematic review and meta-analysis of studies reporting vaccine effectiveness at different time points since vaccine administration estimates the waning of protection provided by a variety of COVID-19 vaccine products.
