I had my three year post chemo CT scan today. There were no shortages of masks or abundance unvaccinated workers or patients. Stuff your wokeism where it belongs. Nobody cares to listen to the fear mongering anymore.
I didn’t realize you were a survivor. I hope the results were good.
Best wishes with that.
Thank you for wearing your mask, I’m not fear mongering, there are people who are where you were three years ago who have suffered because of selfish spreadnecks.
Again congrats on three years, hopefully many more to come 👍
Gina,
Thanks. I am sure you are a nice person, as I am as well.
Just in case you have an interest, there are 60 different sub-types of non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL). Mine, follicular lymphoma 3a (FL3a), has about an 80% cure rate, and many who relapse have other options. FL3a is aggressive, usually becomes apparent in a short period of time. For me I had a lump appear on my neck, which appeared shortly after running a 6:32 indoor mile at age 67. Unbeknownst to me I had a six inch by four inch mass of swollen lymph nodes along my intestine, but felt perfectly fine. Interestingly, high mileage former endurance athletes like myself have a higher incidence of NHL. The treatment was 4 1/2 months of chemo and a month of radiation. Fortunately the aggressiveness aides in treatment in that the trouble makers can be targeted. Of course one never knows, but I believe I have been cured, and up to now that has been the trend.
Take care.
