Seth will be joined by the following Rowan teammates in the Mile and 3000m. At this point, I am not only suspicious of Seth but the Rowan team as a whole. We know other college coaches passed on Seth. Why is Rowan standing by him?
Mile: Caleb Wiederholt, Colin Patterson
3000m: Aidan Brad, Colin Patterson
And this is exactly why the Rowan coach is failing at his job.
These other names have nothing to do with SC. Rowan is failing other kids by not addressing this situation.
D3 schools have no NIL and 99% of D1 runners don't.
D3 athletes for sure get NIL deals...don't those twins at UW-Lax have one with that clothing brand that prints all sorts of things on shorts...chicken legs or something

You are correct. A few athletes secured NIL deals. Many D1 schools have collectives for entire teams and athletic departments. The point was that NIL is not changing hiw D3 functions as someone stated.
First heat of the mile was won in 4:31 -- last place in 5:40. Not quite the Big 12.
Fast heat up now...
SC wins the 2026 NJAC mile in 4:02.8
Jacob Dinerman in 2nd place with a PR of 4:09. Interesting story about a guy who was very good in high school and is now back in college after a few years away. A real d3 good story.
The story is finished, has passed legal approval and is finally 100% ready to be published. The story will come out Monday morning. Thanks your patience.
We decided to not publish it at 4:30 on a Friday. People are ready to head home and unwind. Plus it would come out in the middle of the conference meet. We don't want to create a public spectacle. Personally I wish this had come out much earlier but we really wanted to be thorough here.

I eagerly await to read it. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Looks like he’ll be coming back in about 10 minutes for another 3k W.
Against no competition as well. I can't believe he chose to go – and pay – to a school where the school records were 8:15 and 14:30, to beat up on absolute nobodies in a random d3 conference (looking at 3k startlists – the second best person in the field has run 8:38 this season). I bolded D3 for a key reason – they cannot offer athletic $ if they play fully by the rules. And it's also Rowan – it's not like he's paying to go to D3 MIT (for example), or nearby, non-scholarship Princeton. So he's not choosing Rowan for superior teammates, superior coaching, or superior academics.
And to "Iowa Sideways" who posted about cost - despite, in post #161 on this very thread, saying "He is young and fast and wealthy. People here don't like that combination." - he certainly could have gotten a good deal of money to go to a school, that's also close to home, but has better training partners, coaching, and academics. If you finish top 20 at Nuttycombe, you're all-American caliber. And you'll get compensated commensurately.
I believe he was / is doping (the EPO email from December 5 of 2025...) and is getting some form of $ from Rowan that takes the place of athletic money. If he competes at nationals, he almost will certainly win, and it'll be like Shelby dominating the field in her heyday.

The TCNJ guys in this thread will also get mad at the mention of Dinerman lol
