OK the IAAF Progression just lists the best time for each year. So all her times better than 4.03 have been this year. Still a big improvement though.
There seem to be a lot of failed D1 runners and coaches that frequent these boards and immediately trash any great performance as doping, simply because they failed in their professional aspirations and are not as successful runners such as Hassan, in this case. Really sad, and one of the main reasons why this sport is not appealing to the masses.
For the record, Hassan is one of the last in this field I’d suspect of doping. WHAT A PERFORMANCE.

3:56. June 11, 2017 NED 68F, 73% Humidity
3:56 July 17, 2015 Monaco, 84F, 73% Humidity
Those of who run marathons know the direct impact of humidity on performances.
Women’s 400M hurdles, men’s 800m finals, 1500m Finals have shown some exceptional performance.
It’s unfortunate that Hassan is tied to Salazar. This puts a cloud over everything but we should look at the body of work over the last 5 years.....
I know Stafford and Muir don't dope. Kipyegon has been consistently good for years - running 4:03 as early as 2012 and under 4 the past 6 years in a row. Is there any evidence Houlihan does? C'mon, that's too easy.

humidity plays one of many parts to situation in doha .
the track for me and air conditioning play the rest of the non doping variables .
the track seems to have perfect bounce for 400m events and mondo up to usual antics here .
which all came together in past 2 days in a big way .
still got to dope in a big way to bring these times .
track has a massive honesty and integrity problem and will be brought to task .
remember some athletes peaking big way for champs and the ones that tried to stay course of season alot less so .
the very late date as helped athletes willing to forgo alot of final events of year til now .

Notice that she was the only athlete in the entire field that did so. She's class.
Jenny is a multi US National and NCAA champ. An Olympic bronze medalist. A multi World Champs medalist including a gold. She is a great runner. Just wasn't her day.

She didn't take the lead until the 300m mark. Anyone who watched her run the mile this year has seen that she starts slow and runs each lap faster than the last.
Who are you to decide what's normal or natural? The 10k was 8 days ago and only the last mile was hard. She only ran 30:17 - just a few seconds faster than Shalane Flanagan ran in 2008.
BTW, Mary Decker tested positive in her 40's and a large part of her career happened before testing was even done. Name ANY NOP athlete who has tested positive. You can't.
Finally, Ayana races a few times a year, at most. Hassan races a lot and is getting tested a lot. Anyone who's watched Hassan on the Diamond league 3:55 and 8:18 3k, knew that this was possible.

3.51.90 = 1271 points, same number of points for 800m in 1.54.01 and 5000m in 14.05.30 and 10000m in 29.34.21.
Interestingly also equivalent to Miller-Uibo's time of 48.37 in the 400m. Of these equivalent times only the 5km time has never been achieved.
I’m surprised no one is talking about the spikes that all the top runners are wearing at this meet. They are worth a lot more than folks realize. They are the VFs all over again, but spikes for track. Carbon plate and air bag in the front. This is part of the reason times are so fast on the distance circuit this year.
