I understand the criticism, and that's why I liked the speech. Call her a hypocrite if you want but the words of her speech were inspiring.

I thought it would be great for the President to get over his insecurities and invite her to the White House and see if she came. It's much easier to demonize someone than to actually talk to them.

Now maybe her words don't apply to going to the White House (I see now the night before she said no one on her team would go), but if the President said, "Hey I heard Megan's words, she's invited to the White House." that is taking the high road for him. See if she responds in kind.

Her words were she would, "it’s time to come together. This conversation is at the next step. We have to collaborate. It’s takes everybody. This is my charge to everybody, ‘Do what you can. Do what you have to do. Step outside of yourself. Be more. Be better. Be bigger than you’ve ever been before. If this team is any representation of what you can be, when you do that please take this as an example."

Its is a supposed to be about the entire nation rally around a sports team that is representing our country that has the flag on their uniforms and yet she can alienate millions of fans by her political elite ism and you consider this good it's embarrassing And shameful and her because complaint have to do with inequality well how do you become equal when you in alienate millions of fans

I'd like to point out that Rojo is not without sin in this regard. There is a thread about a rare rogue police officer that seems to have been planted by Rojo (the OP) perhaps to draw out ugly and venomous posts about police officers. Truly ugly and dispiriting posts in that thread mostly. Which is fine if these forums are truly open for all. Are they truly open for all though?

What is so groundbreaking about telling people that they need to put aside their differences and come together? Oh yeah, absolutely nothing. Then go to foxnews-dot-com, and read the comments readers leave beneath their news stories (which is astounding they allow it, but that again proves my point). The hate expressed there is astounding. The US is essentially Nazi Germany right now, if you really think about it.
