Not arguing against the guilty finding. A and B positive will be hard to overturn without real proof of sample tampering or something similar. Still, even ignoring anything Kiprop says, one thing stands out to me as strange. Everyone seems to agree he had advance notice, and out of competition urine tests are something that happen frequently, even in Kenya. Seems like a rookie mistake to still get caught, for someone a decade into his pro-career.

Kiprop is guilty as of now.
The sample tested positive in late November. Kiprop was informed in February. Kiprop was officially charged with violating IAAF rules following the Athletics Integrity Unit's investigation into the matter, where they ruled that there was no evidence of tampering with the sample, on March 17th.
Now comes Kiprop's appeals etc before the IAAF tribunal ultimately decides his fate. It is possible for the tribunal to reverse his positive test still, (has happened in the past with 'dodgy meat' and 'passionate kissing') but as of right now he is guilty, unless proven innocent. Not the other way round.
