NOP's "medical" budget is 8 times the Beasts entire budget.One flood blood panel is at least $400. They run 1 of those per week for each athlete. Then you start adding on flights to doctors, crates of drugs etc.

They crossed the line with the infusion of L-Carnitine at a rate and volume higher than allowed. And if they are 'doctoring' the records to hide that, you have another ethical if not legal violation. And I don't care what company or team does this, they should be stopped and sanctioned.

The L-Carnitine must be doing some sort of masking. Recall that Kara Goucher had a Salazar hand labeled pill bottle he gave her. Only Salazar knows what he is actually putting in the bottles. The athlete really doesn't know. That is something Salazar would do, in my opinion: not tell what he is really doling out.

This isn't what we already publicly knew.

1) We never before knew how uncomfortable all of this made Ritzenhein feel. Or Erdmann. The fact is these athletes as proven by Ritz's and Erdmann's sworn testimony (but which changes when she talks to the press as her husband is a Nike employee) didn't feel comfortable or know what was being done to them.

It does confirm what I'd heard gossiped about in hotel lobbies - that Ritz was pissed as hell about his tenure there and had lawyered up after he left and that he refused to wear the NOP singlet in the Boston marathon when he first went back to Michigan.

2) We also had never heard that Dr. Brown modified medical documents to try to cover his tracks.

Except that his coach may not actually recommend "it." "It" could be something only the coach knows. The athlete may not know for certain. The reasons an athlete would look the other way and ask no questions is; fame and fortune. That is not difficult to figure out.
