- El Paso Perception: this is unfortunate ... a gem for middle & long-distance running -- Franklin State Park & you can get even higher w/elevation in a hours drive.

- Failure to Diversify: I find it unfortunate that Coach Ereng's made ZERO investment in US or Border Region (Texas/NM/AZ) middle-distance & distance runners. Many programs become successful w/encouraging "walk-ons" to join the program. I see no evidence of that with Coach Ereng -- perhaps he's challenged with developing talent? The "walk-ons" should view "Running with the Kenyans" as an opportunity & Coach Ereng should invest in meet opportunities to build some program foundation outside Rift Valley. If not for his own coaching vitae. A XC roster w/only 2 Americans on either men's or women's program demonstrates that Coach Ereng's turned his back on those that fund the program. Maybe he's just lazy and/or not a good coach? Looks like Coach Ereng's one of the few UTEP coaches that's neither published, certified, or earned an advanced degree.

- Let's prevent human trafficking in NCAA T&F! I agree that UTEP's model is within the rules ... I'm simply calling for further scrutiny on potential irregularities for a foreigner coaching for a public instituion that recruits & trains 3D World athletes.

You are slandering ciach Ereng.

You are continually posting that he has conflicts of interest and is acting unethically without offering a shred of evidence.

I have no idea why the Brojos allow this except that they cannot be held liable.
