I know chances are slim they race again on the Track in a 10,000m...although not out of realm of possibility as Jos Hermens did say a couple months ago, Bekele would like to race Farah in the 10,000m in London next year...of course with his Berlin Performance, i don't see this happening.
Anyways, IF they were to race in a 10,000m next year. What strategy could Bekele use? He couldn't just wait till last lap as Mo would have the edge in kicking these days. Its doubtful that in a WC the pace would be that of 26:40 or something and Bekele wouldn't lead the entire thing himself. So what could his strategy be?
I would think it would be similar to the strategy in his 2008 5,000m or the 2013 great north run where he picks it up the last ~2km and still has enough of a kick to hold off farah who should be tired at that point
It would have to be under hot conditions and Jos Hermens would have to be handing out the drinks at 9 km ...
