If this read "French 3:39 runner fails test" nobody would care.
Where is the investigation into state sponsored doping in Kenya or Ethiopia? They've had far more positives and rumours over the last few years. Or the USA.
Oh, just bore-off and hang, Metric Miler. In my experience Brits (including yourself) are generally more likely to be racist than even sheet-wearing clowns from the American deep south. They (the Brits) just tend to be more self-conscious and careful with their words. Once in a while, something happens to unmask these underlying feelings which they're very good at hiding in public. Like the ongoing wave of disgusting racist incidents on your island right now.
As for "state-sponsored doping" in Kenya, proof? And not just a bunch of third-tier wannabes who failled tests because that does not constitute systematic state sponsored doping. Lack of funds and resources to conduct adequate testing is NOT systematic doping. We wish the Kenyan government was as involved and invested in sports as the Russian and British governments are. But they're not because they can't afford it and have more pressing problems like healthcare, housing, education and hunger to deal with. Personally, I find it suspicious that Britain went from having just one gold medal in Atlanta 1996 to beating the Russians in 2012.
We've always been better runners than you folk, and it kills you so much that all you have left is to drag Kenya into this as a distraction. Here we have a clear example of wilful cover up by UKA, which means they're probably doing the same for others because you as a people are just not athletically gifted enough to produce genuine world-beaters.
Idiot.
The UK in general and London specifically, is one of the most multi-cultural, liberal and tolerant societies you'll find anywhere. The current issues involving Brexit is a multi-faceted and complex one. Only some of those who voted to leave are frustrated with what they perceive as a long term lack of immigration control (by successive UK governments) from the EU at a time of austerity and spending cuts on public services. Britain is a small country with a population increase of about 300,000 per year. Politicians, rightly or wrongly, have managed to persuade many that these current rates of immigration are unsustainable.
The vast majority of people I know voted to remain in the EU, and many of those who didn't now regret their decision; which for many was a protest vote at the government for prolonged austerity measures. Voting to leave the EU does not make you a racist.
Please don't make comments on political matters you clearly have no understanding of. Stick to protesting how unjust it is that the IAAF and WADA are at last putting some pressure on poor old Kenya to actually start testing their athletes randomly and out of competition, something which has been in place in Britain and most other parts of Europe for 25 years plus.
