I was recently on the team and this isn't true. The issues have been stated on this thread, mainly from what exRunner said. During season drinking is not a legit issue, although there are definitely teams out there who do less and run better.

Regarding BC Track..... Non scholarship white athletes on the mens or womens track, swimming, rowing, skiing,badminton.... whatever??!! team contributes to the numbers game that BC plays with their NCAA Athlete Graduation rate...... BC boasts a 92% Athlete Graduation rate but BC has a 60% Graduation rate among their non-white athletes. I haven'tdone the numbers but how does a 60% Graduation rate among their non-white athletes equate to a 92% Athlete Graduation rate? Lots of white athletes participating in non scholarship athletic programs..
