Or it just might be the bowerman mile is a high profile pro race and they don't much care about a head to head competiton of high school kids. They had one spot for a high schooler and hunter got it.
this whole head to head thing when they will be back of the race is kind of meh. Let them face each other ar NB

I'm pretty sure a ton of people are more interested in the high school competition than the pro race. Big mistake not to have the three head to head in the same race.
I hope that Hunter and Slagowski both run 3:55 at Pre and then slug it out mano a mono at Brooks PR.
