It's fair to have your suspicions about Rupp and Salazar (most of us do), but your dislike for all things NOP is over the top.

Was that the most graceful way to answer a wildly inappropriate question? Probably not. But I would like to see all the whiners on here try give a non emotional, pc answer after putting your body through a grueling effort only to come up gut wrenchingly short. I will continue to be a huge fan of Kara's after today. If she is right or wrong about this, only time will tell, but she has heart and isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
She is clearly a victim of institutional abuse and has been traumatized by that. Why are you people so afraid of anyone who expresses his/her emotions? This does not mean she is crazy. Obviously the timing was a factor for the intensity of her response, and she was also deeply wounded by whatever happened.
AND any opposing lawyers/goons would try to discredit her by saying she is crazy, etc., etc.

This. USADA is rather loathe to allow ppl under investigation to represent at major championships, so they'd act before allowing an athlete to go to the games, *then* have to pop them later. Looks bad for everyone, so they prefer to stay ahead of it, even if it only means getting them on a 4yr instead of an 8yr, "aggravated" sanction. If they had something on AS/GR, they would have done it by now. sorry Kara, but I'm not buying it, especially with what I know of you.

Biggest issue that has not been covered is the fact that she says in the interview that she missed the last 2 workouts because she was sick and then blamed it on her kid for getting her sick... Great parenting!

This interview, my friends, is the perfect example of why you never call your girlfriend, "fat."
Why??? Because he has already thrown in his cards with Magness/Goucher. Look at who supports Kara: Oiselle, Brooks and LetsRun...do you people not see the pattern. No matter the evidence against her they will stick by her.

Another use to be fan of Kara's and was really happy to see she was back to running strong. I even belive she would have had taken 3rd if Amy didn't pull Shalane along the last few miles.
Anyway very disappoint with how she acted after her race. Out true selves are reveled under strain and she comes across like one vindictive crazed person.
She is a total nightmare. And watching her run is painful.

First, fourth place is tough for anyone. Luke will be thinking what ifs for the next year.
I had no problem with the way anyone acted at the trials or after.
The athletes all put on a beautiful show. It was awesome. Thanks to all the runners.
Disclaimer: I'm a person who wholeheartedly believes that both Kara and Adam Goucher were fully involved in the NOP performance enhancing drug program. With this in mind, it takes a lot for me to defend Kara Goucher.
I think that in the first part of the interview, Kara is very appropriate and professional. She repeats the "they were just better,". She's clearly upset as anybody who just finished fourth should/would be, but she handled herself well.
In the second part of the video, she loses it. There's no doubt that she'll regret blasting NOP. She knows that it'll come off as petty, but-----I'd ask anybody who's ever run a hard marathon to consider their state of mind after a 100% effort 26.2 mile race. I am messed up mentally for days after full young emptying the tank. If somebody stuck a microphone in my face and asked me some emotional questions right after a max effort marathon, I'd think I'd come off as crazy too.
In short, while I think Kara is guilty of everything she's accused Alberto of, I think we should give her a pass on sounding like a crazy person in the video. This ignores the obvious, as well, that she's probably telling the truth----just too much truth at the wrong time.
