World XC should be 12-15k. Track guys have to step up and the marathon guys step down.
One problem is that I believe it's required to be 2k loops. Too many (i.e.) 12-15k and too many slower women (way less depth in the women's ranks relative to th Dibabas of the world) would be getting lapped.

According to John Mulkeen only six runners have beaten all 3:
Heath, Lagat, Rupp, Choge, Kipchoge and Soi
And I because really aware of XC during the long short era and I didn't mind it. Plus Bekele was dominant in both so the best did win.
I do think if there has to be one distance it should be 12k
I am too lazy to read through this thread but did anyone mention why Ben True was not there, he woulda beat Mo too if Heath did, giants 2 midgets 0

Well 1st off King Ches is not a US citizen. Rupee ran this a few years ago losing to Farah.
I don't understand why more top US runners don't try to get on this team.
Does Alberto not care about Mo Farah anymore? Seems dangerous to let him run on such a non-Rupp certified course.
