He did in fact run indoors in 2013, but not outdoors.

My guess: Thorson FTW in 14:15-14:20, Campbell 14:20-25, Horner around 14:30. Assuming the race goes out, or they have a pacer.

Bijan seeded 3rd in the 5k at BU. What the hell did they seed him at, 13:30?
I don't think so, two tufts guys who haven't broken 14:50 are seeded right behind him
they probably seeded him 14:13 - that's what his 14:22 converts to. That would have put him in the top 5 last year. BU 5k has never been as competitive as the 3k.

My guess is Thorson wins, Jake hits his qualifier and doesn't kill himself, and hart goes sub 14:28. In a month, I think jakes mile speed pays bigger dividends.
Marquardt will be under 4:03 for sure in my opinion. Whether he gets under 4... I don't know if his recent fitness points to something quite that fast (1:54 800, granted it was his opener, and an 8:06 3k). Plus the article indicates he will be on his own after 800. His mile/1500 fast times in the past have been races he has been racing others to the line. I think he will certainly give it a scare if he feels good tonight though. His last two races don't necessarily say he can't do it, and if he gets in the zone with the crowd and the drama of the moment it could give him the boost to get under four.
Anyone have the 5K results from the St. Thomas meet yet? Looks like the fast heat was at 3pm this afternoon?

Slow heat went first. Fast heat in an hour or two.
Officially 4:02.16. From the Haverford twitter feed looks like the race went as perfectly as it ever can, had a rabbit take the race through 1200 in 3:00 and then came in fourth so he had guys to run with the whole way. Horowitz ran 4:02.12 the same weekend his senior year, so I wonder if Charlie will try it again. Maybe he can get some better luck, great effort Chuck.

Hi Jake. Thanks for letting us know that you don't want us to count you out when you underperform tomorrow.
Campbell scratched due to illness (flu?). Thorson FTW in 14:22ish. Horner faded hard and was above 15min. Couple other EC guys in the high 14:30s.
