Dawson has looked very fresh in indoor competition. Ran a pretty good mile (4:19) and then finished with a solid 600 (1:23 mid). Utica may have found a late blooming gem here.

And this helps explain why an ever-increasing number of national-level recruits is opting to go Ivy. There are no athletic/activity/merit scholarships in the Ivy League; but the need-based aid packages are outstanding, and for quite a few families those packages result in a better *bottom line* than would be the case for a kid who gets a partial grant at a power-conference school.
...Plus the educational/networking opportunities at Ivies are often pretty good, too.
