Al Sal should move back home to New England to make the big bucks. There's no money for runners in little pee hole towns.

true dat .. though, from the BBC article, it seems clear Al Sal was talking about 5000m-10 000m doubles, not 1500-5000m. Just say'n.

Sept 3 10000m FINAL 27-38 (Viren fell over, and then ran 4-0X for his last 1600m to win).

I see no Ethiopian triple at 2013. Certainly there could be some gold, but no triple. No way, no how.

El G, hate to say, was probably doped too. Buddies with Lance, not good, never really seemed spent, never tired, strange. All these guys were doped though, so I guess he's still the best. 2004 double the best, even if doped. Beat WR holder in Bekele, Lagat fresh in 1500, awesome.

1,2 in the 5000 is possible with gebrehiwot and gebremeskel.

Merga could medal in the 10,000. I don't expect much from jaeilan.

I think the 10,000 will be Mo, Rupp and T Bekele.

I am not sure if kenenisa will run track anymore.. he may switch to the roads.

Ain't no way Farah is better than Bekele's 2008 Olympics where he set Olympic records for both distances - 27:01 in the 10k and 12:58 in the 5k. In the 2008 Olympic 10k, 20 men broke the 28 minute barrier and four finished under Bekele's 2004 Olympic record of 27:05. I'd say that's some pretty stiff competition

So obviously, alberto doesn't think Mo's achievement is greater than Bekele's in 2008. All this talk about what Alberto said, or thinks, is based on an article that is clearly just trying to make a story. All articles are trolls. Quoting articles as though it was the full thoughts and complete transcriptions of an interview is a troll. Whatever.

Please tell me how Farah's 5K run was better than Bekele's Beijing run here? Farah would have at best gotten third. Granted their 10K runs are on par.

Also, its very IGNORANT of Salazar to forget that Yifter and Viren's doubles were done with 10K heats as well. Viren doing a double double.
